This season at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week 2015, Michael Costello presented a collection that was gleaming in style and sensuality. New Yorkers withered under winters sub zero gaze, but on Costello's runway the models were dressed for warmer climates. There were some stunning black gowns that were augmented by the minimal make up and mini bun hairstyle reminicent of the Japanese top knot. Brightly colored hand bags popped against sheer form fitting gowns. Necklines were bold and many of the dresses featured open backs and thigh high slits. The collection provided plenty of runway drama and most defintiely got our attention. The big news for the Virgin Islands was the Blue bottom footwear from Stella Hues. The gladiator style over-the-knee peep toe boots are created from the finest materials Italy has to offer. The footwear also has an embossed no skid hand painted sole. The sole is a wonderful pop of bleu/turquoise inspired by the warm waters of the Virgin Islands. Once again we were treated to an amazing collection. We see you Michael Costello, and we love you like cook food.
