Designs By DRU, Chinese-Jamaican designer, Andrew Chuck, is known almost entirely for his carnival costumes and feather work with some of the best and longest-running carnival bands across the Caribbean and North America as well as featured placements in music videos for popular Dancehall & Soca artistes.
Chuck who was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica makes a distinctive transition into swim & resort wear with the release of his first capsule collection and visual campaign, titled GEMMA – Latin For Gemstones.
The collection was inspired by four gemstones that emit positive, energizing, and relaxing vibrations: Black Onyx, Agate, Jade, and Rose Quartz. Every swimsuit was created to reveal the form and fit of each woman, regardless of shape or size, while also matching a gemstone hue and the therapeutic properties it conveys. The absolutely gorgeous capsule includes eight different styled swimsuit designs made with fluff cuts, high-cut bikinis, and monokinis.
