Designer Felisha Noel founder of  Fe Noel fashion line presented her collection at New York Fashion Week FW20. Closing out the week with a bang, the collection debuted on February 12th the final day of Fashion Week.

Felisha first opened her fashion boutique when she was 19. Since then she has gone on to build a very well-known brand. She has dressed big names such as Michelle Obama, Beyoncé, and fellow Grenadian Yvette Noel-Shure [Beyoncé’s Publicist] among many others. In previous seasons, Noel has presented collections with Harlem’s Fashion Row. She is also known as the designer behind LeBron James’s first sneaker. Though based in Brooklyn, the designer was born on the island of Grenada. Without a doubt, the culture and tranquility of Grenada’s beaches serve as an influence for her collection.

The show began with a short film, “Daughter of the Soil”. The beautifully shot art film symbolized pride, strength, and resiliency. It also paid tribute to Grenadian culture. The film definitely set the stage for the collection that would follow. The collection was rich with pastels, sheer gossamer like fabrics, and Noel’s signature wide leg pants. Her use of plaids beautifully complemented the collection. Congratulations to our Caribbean sister! A collection that exudes elegance, simplicity, and freedom.
