Raised in the culture-rich city of Kingston, Jamaica, Jaz Elise, the multi-talented artist renowned for her 21st century fusion of reggae, soul, R&B, and dancehall, returns with her latest single, “Unforgettable” (Easy Star Records). Known for her captivating sound and undeniable presence, the young singer, songwriter and producer from the city’s coastal region of Harbour View has been steadily gaining recognition both locally and internationally.

Produced by GRAMMY-nominated J.L.L. (Drake) and GRAMMY-winning IzyBeats (Koffee), the track and its accompanying video represent a significant milestone in Elise’s blossoming career.

“This song is one of freedom, vulnerability, and growth,” says Jaz Elise. “It’s the kind of love that makes you feel nostalgic—a love that is unapologetic, where giving is receiving, and your cup overflows. It brings peace and joy, flowing effortlessly, just like true love that allows you to be your full self.”

“The visuals are a love letter to Jamaica and to myself. Being rooted in this culture is unforgettable; there’s nothing like it. When love feels this good, it feels like home. Jamaica is my heart, and I see it through a deeply romantic lens,” she adds.

“Unforgettable” follows “Gunman,” her highly-praised Spring 2024 single, which was described by Billboard as a “deliciously dramatic mixture of R&B and reggae.” The track adds to her growing list of hits, including “Fresh & Clean” and “Rice & Peas,” along with her 2021 debut EP The Golden Hour (via In.Digg.Nation Collective and RCA Records), which featured favorites like “Radio,” “Elevated,” and “After 3.”

With her much-anticipated 2025 debut album on the horizon, “Unforgettable” offers fans a tantalizing preview of what’s to come.
