From Jamaica to Japan, Lila Iké isn’t just taking reggae all over the world—she’s sprinkling Caribbean stardust on every stage she touches.

Her latest single “All Over The World” with longtime collaborator Protoje is more than music—it’s a passport stamped with style, soul, and unapologetic island flair. Filmed in New York, Paris, London, Jamaica, Japan, and Egypt, the vibrant video is proof that Caribbean women aren’t just in the room—we own the room.

Released August 1, the track is a high-energy appetizer for Lila’s highly anticipated debut album Treasure Self Love, landing August 22, 2025. Directed by SAMO, the video plays like a whirlwind travel diary—one minute she’s under the Eiffel Tower, the next she’s by a Brooklyn bodega, then basking in the shadows of the Great Pyramid. Between the beats and the backdrops, Lila serves an effortless masterclass in how to carry reggae’s heartbeat across continents. Protoje storms in with a verse that matches her fire, sealing the track’s “anthem” status.

This jet-set single tips its crown to Rascalz’s ‘90s gem “Top of the World” featuring reggae royalty Barrington Levy and rapper k-os. Lila is no stranger to reimagining classics with her own spice—just look at her steamy summer hit “Romantic” with Masicka, a nod to Patra’s 1994 “Romantic Call”, now flirting with 1.5 million YouTube views.

“I walked into the studio, heard Protoje working on it, and had to be a part of it,” Lila says. “Hearing Barrington Levy’s enunciation for the first time was magic. This song celebrates reggae’s ability to travel and touch people from every corner of the world.”

Protoje, who co-produced the track with Ziah .Push, calls it “a theme song for Lila right now—on the brink of her debut album, stepping into a new era. It’s an anthem if I’ve ever heard one.”

When Treasure Self Love drops, it will cement Lila Iké as one of reggae’s most vital voices of her generation. The LP honors her Jamaican musical roots—tipping her hat to icons like Barrington Levy, Patra, and Garnett Silk—while pairing her with global stars including H.E.R., Joey Bada$$, and Maverick Sabre. Across its 11 tracks, she blends reggae, dancehall, and R&B into a sound that is raw, fearless, and unmistakably hers.

Her journey from Christiana, Jamaica—raised by a single mother alongside three sisters—to the world stage is one of grit, grace, and glow. With her 2020 EP The ExPerience, she helped push Caribbean music to the global forefront, landing on NPR’s Tiny Desk, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and magazine covers from RIDDIM to Viper. She’s worked with Jorja Smith and Davido, and beyond the music, she’s using her voice to speak openly about mental health and uplift young creatives through her Blessings & Light Foundation.

This August, she’ll launch her debut album live in London. And if “All Over The World” is any indication, this Caribbean queen isn’t just ready for the global stage—she is the global stage.
