The Caribbean POSHgirl Project

I have never been so afraid in my life, as I heard what sounded like a giant monster just destroying everything — I really thought I was going to die. I just prayed to God for protection and that is the only reason I am here.

Janette Brin – Publisher & Founding Editor Caribbean POSH/ Producer Caribbean POSHgirl POWER Brunch

Hurricane Irma and Maria left a path of devastation throughout the Caribbean. Countries affected include the British Virgin Islands, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Dominica, Puerto Rico, St. Martin, Antigua and Barbuda, Anguilla, and St.Barts.

Prior to Hurricane Irma and Maria, we were in the process of planning our annual Caribbean POSHgirl POWER Brunch for 2018 and the launching of a FALL Fashion Issue. The passing of these historic hurricanes has forced us to rethink these plans.

As we work re-prioritize our plans it became apparent that high priority should be given to helping those in need. Reiterating our commitment to the women empowerment movement we are introducing The Caribbean POSHgirl Project. The goal of this initiative is to provide a new start for women affected by Hurricane Irma and Maria. Your support can make a difference in the lives of so many women.

Provide a new start for a woman affected by Hurricane Irma and Maria. Donate a new or lighlty worn career wear item, including shoes, and handbags. You can also choose to donate new and unopened skincare products and cosmetics.

The best part is simply doing something to support a woman who may have lost everything.  Collect new or lightly worn career wear, shoes, accessories, new and unopened skincare products and cosmetics.

Caribbean POSH welcomes any like-minded organization that wishes to partner with us on this initiative.
